The policy consists of high level statements emphasizing on the necessity to adopt Web Standards and Guidelines across Lebanese Government websites, aiming at achieving uniformity and consistency among these websites. The policy also sets the directions that should be followed for applying and enforcing these standards. This policy document puts the policy in a context and prepares it for endorsement by a recognized management authority (that will be determined); the policy will then be ready for implementation and must be driven from the top downwards in order to be effective.
